In 2004, Natalie Killassy became the first recipient of this prestigious award. In the same year she was nominated for Shoprite/Checkers Woman of the Year.
Endeavor 
In December 2004, Killassy was invited to join the US based NGO Endeavor (www.endeavor.com) and remains an active member, spreading her philosophies on social entrepreneurship at Corporate, Provincial and International levels.

Natalie Killassy was nominated for this award in 2007, which recognises and encourages creative and effective social entrepreneurship world wide. 
Although not the winner, the selection process allowed her to address the World Economic Forum in Cape Town in June and to meet with several influential, local and international, key players in the business and political arenas.
"The acknowledgement of the success of our business model is so powerful" says Killassy. "There is particular interest in our skills development programme and how people have grown within the company".
