Accreditation:

Stitch Wise has been a CTFL Seta-accredited trainer since 2006 and is able to present candidates who complete their learnerships with NQF 1 and NQF2 national certificates. Since 2004, the company has trained over 1500 people in over 20 work areas.

Profile:

Training in Stitch Wise has always been a priority and the company places enormous importance on;

Stitch Wise boasts three fully equipped and computerised training centres, 3 sewing centres, 3 factories for on the job training and multi-skilling of employees and 3 facilities for incorporating social responsibility.

Our aim is to create a totally educated workforce that has mastered as many skills as possible, to the highest possible qualifications.

As in all things, Stitch Wise strives to look at its training and be able to say ‘It’s done!

Trainer Profiles

Helen Janneke is the company’s Training Manager

As a BA HDE graduate, Helen spent 22 years in higher education in South Africa, followed by 11 years in the mining sector (ABET, NQF and MQA). She has been with Stitch Wise for four years. Helen also holds an international teaching certificate and is an accredited Moderator and Assessor.

She is assisted in the training department by Unit manager Louis Janneke and trainer Shirley Mogale.
