Basic Sewing Course - March 2010

Stitch Wise is proud to boast our first seven graduates for the year.  They have all successfully passed a six week training course in basic sewing.  Furthermore, during the practical phase they learned to produce track suits, pyjamas, shirts and numerous other clothing items. Well done!

Paragon win basketball competition

The Paragon Basketball team has proven time and time again that anything is possible if you put your mind to it.  The team is coached by Tebogo Gaanagom who started the paraplegic basketball team in 2005, as he was also coaching young adults in his home town before he came to work at Paragon.

The team won their first gold medal in 2007 when they beat Bekkersdal in the Bekkersdal Urban Renewal Basketball Challenge.
